AI is at the forefront of revolutionizing how humans search, work, and learn by consolidating a broad spectrum of human knowledge. However, with 75% of consumers concerned about misinformation in AI, significant progress is needed until AI is safe for everyone. With Make ChatGPT Great again, we enable ChatGPT users to take an active role in the progress of AI. In this course, we were tasked with studying bias in Gen AI. We refined the problem space exploring how users infrequently report biases when using Generative AI Tools like ChatGPT.
Our solution is to add a visible and easy report function in ChatGPT and provide the advance credit permit as an incentive to encourage users to report biases. The direct reporting function will come in handy and be more accessible when users spot biased content while interacting with ChatGPT in a chain of conversation. The credit permit incentive will give users access to higher quality responses of ChatGPT 4.2 which is likely to encourage average users to report. With such a function and an incentive system, we believe that ChatGPT users are more likely to engage and provide feedback to OpenAI.
